Conceived head to toe by Jeff Schlarb Design Studio and Sutro Architects, this five-floor gentle giant in Cow Hollow went through quite the transformation after it last sold in 2009 for a mere $1,949,000.
Back then, 2862 Greenwichwas a ho-hum, two-unit building. Nothing to Skype home about, but not too shabby, either. Today, this onetime humble home is an entirely different beast.
Coming in at five beds, four baths, and 5,578 square feet, this contemporary construction now features an open-floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, white oak flooring, elevator to all five floors, and a terrace (rechristened “sky lounge” in brokerbabble) with characteristically sweeping city views.
The new home’s design, inside and out, is perfectly lovely even if it pulls back a bit on bold design.
But it does manage to be daring in one way: It’s now asking $9,900,000.
